Assignment #7 Understanding the Elements of Photography

     

For this assignment you will incorporate some of the elements and principles of photography into your images. Find examples of lines, patterns movement, texture, extreme lighting, and selective focus. Use them to create strong images with  solid of contrast. Read the handout carefully and submit 4 images for each composition style. Make sure you label each picture what elements or principles your picture represents.

Please make sure you are making your photographes interesting. Be creative! And be sure that your photo follows the criteria. And remember when you are asked to take a picture of texture....dont give me the literal form. In your picture "Texture" should be the main element but not the only aspect of the photo.




Remember to incorporate the elements of composition that you have practiced with already!





1. 4 photo's with strong texture





2. 4 photo's with good examples of dominant line.





3. 4 photo's with excellent examples of pattern.





4. 4 photo's with extreme lighting and contrast.





5. 4 photo's of selective focus the main subject in the photo should be clearly dfined.
